This post is difficult to write...
We have unfortunately came to the difficult decision that our home is no longer the best home for Corbin. We've thought about this for a while, but our life schedules and Corbin's needs just don't seem to match up right now. We found out that we are expecting a baby and with this added responsibility and the limited amount of free time we will have to work with Corbin, it is in his best interest to find a new family. He needs a family dedicated to his continued training and couch snuggling. Also, Corbin is crated during the day, and the room we have designated for his crate will now need to be used as a baby room. So, we simply won't have the room to care for him.
You don't want me anymore?

Oh, April Fools.... we could never give up our monkey dog.
And, no, we are not expecting a child.
However, on a more serious note, many people do re-home their dogs due to the arrival of a new baby human. If you, or someone you know, is expecting a child and nervous about adapting their dog to the new family member, please check out the posts from our friends at Love and a Six Foot Leash about how they're getting their dogs ready to welcome their new baby!
