Corbin's House of Terror!

Beware!  If you're easily scared, I suggest you skip to the last part of this blog, or exit all together!

Last warning!!!!!!!!

Ok, if that last Boo! didn't scare you, you're okay to read on!

So, that picture is what MY house looked like last night.  Scary, huh?

Why does our house look like that mom?
What do you mean it's in my imagination?  No, there's photo proof
our house DEFINITELY looks like that...
Something bad is going to happen.....
AhhhhhH!!!! NO!  You're NOT cutting my nails!
Please tell me this is a nightmare dream!
No, no, no, no, no!  This can not be happening...
My life is over, and these are the tools that will end it.
I'm makin' like a ghost... and I'M OUTTA HERE!
See, mom!  I don't think there's anything wrong with my nails!
I'M NOT LOOKING!!! You can take by paw, but you will never take
Ok, Ok, Ok!  I surrender!!! Please! STOP!!!
Why? Why must you do this to me?
No way, Jose!  I'm NOT going back over there. I don't care if you
say we're done.  You could be lying! Could be a TRICK!
Are you NUTS?!
Well... what's that smell?  Smells yummy....
Are you sure we're done?  Promise, no tricks?
Ok, I'll forgive you if you give me that bully stick.
I'm sitting.... Can I please have it?
YEP! That's the one!!! Give it to me!!!!! You've torchered me enough, lady!
I'll take that, THANK YOU!
Let go of it!  I deserve that fair and square!!!!
STOP following me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just going to pretend I don't see you... and savor every bite
of this bully stick after what I had to endure to get it!
What else ya got for me?  1 Bully stick was not enough.
I need more... whatcha got?
A new non stuffed stuffie?!  OH BOY!
Who's still with me???  Did I scare everyone away??? Helloooooooooo

Well, for those of you who couldn't read through my horrible experience, you can pick up reading again!  I just wanted to thank everyone for their nice comments about my new foster sister!  Mom really likes the name "Tessa" which was inspired by Mayzie!  And she also likes Suzie because she checked out the link Elyse left us and saw this quote that she liked so much for Sassy's sistuation: "I do not know the word 'quit.' Either I never did, or I have abolished it." which was said by Susan Butcher, Iditarod winner, 1988.  Susan is way too formal for my new sister, so we thought we could shorten it to Suzie.  We'll see though.  Mom will probably wait until we meet her to decide.  If you have anymore suggestions, please send them through!  I'm getting really excited to meet her!

Later dudes!

  1. I'm here. Alien and I felt the need to suffer through with you. Take those treats and run! :)

  2. Corbin, I think I got cheated. A nice lady clipped my nails yesterday and I was very cooperative. BUT nobody gave ME a bully stick. I don't even know what a bully stick is, but that thing you had sure looks good.

    Woos, Ciara

  3. Wow... you went through the trauma for those treats. I think you deserve way more than you got. I lived through that with you frame by frame. Have a great rest of your weekend...

    pawhugs... Max

  4. I get my nails clipped tonight. I like to have it done. Then it feels better to click, click....ha ha!

  5. HA Ha... the 3rd photo of the "suck up face" is priceless.

Momma uses a Dremel tool on my nails, you should try it - no pinching!

    woof - Tucker

  6. Corbins!!!!

I am not a big fan of da toe nail clipping either. Mom has to bribe me before, during AND after....... do I have her trained or what! :)
    Happy Howl-O-Ween my furiend!

    Woofs and Licks,
    Maggie Mae

PeeS your house looks very skeery!

  7. Hi Corbin! Thanks for stopping by from Frankie's blog. Maybe we can be furpals to? :)

  8. NOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO...not da nails!!!!!!!
Gosh, Corbin....I was skeered fur ya and I was sittin on da edge of my seat da whole time. I even spilled my beer too...yep, it was dat bad.
You was a trooper though through da whole terrorizing event.
At least your mom didn't gives you clippers fur your birfday like mine did.

  9. That was so scary, Corbin!! Riley doesn't let me cut her nails...she has to go to the scary V-E-T to get that done! Does that QuickFinder really work? I am glad you got a bully stick and a stuffie out of that! Glad you found a name you liked in that link I left you!

    Elyse and Riley

  10. Hey Corbin,

You got one wicked blog! We loved your entry on the toenail clipping. Hold out for more foodables!

    Love, Dozer and Cooper

  11. Oh Corbin....totally scary...and the nails thing...I'm lucky 'cause they grind down when I rollerblade with Dad.

  12. What a nightmare! Hey! About four years ago my momma tried that on me and I gave her a muzzle butt so hard she lost sensation in her hand. Now she takes me to the V-E-T for my nail trim. I really feel for you, but I also am envious that you got a nommy bully stick out of the deal.

  13. Not even a bully stick would convince us to let mom clip our nails! You are a better doggie than we are, Corbin!

    Love ya lots,
    Maggie and Mitch

  14. Oh Corbin, we feel for ya mate. Nail clippers! Can anything be more scary? We mostly walk on concrete, so SHE doesn't have to do the nail thing; but there's always the dew claws! (Bella hasn't got any.)

Hope the bully stick and new non-stuffie helped UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!!

    XXXOOO Daisy, kendra & Bella

  15. Those names are big khool!

Of khourse, I would be partial to Suzie fur some reason!

    Khyra and The Golden Khousins

  16. You can take my paw, but you can't take my freedom - that's funny stuff! I HATE getting my nails trimmed and I put up a good fight when they come at me with those clippers (though mine are a little smaller than yours).

    Your pal, Pip

P.S.: I like the name Tessa.

  17. Toenail trimming! That is a house of horrors...!! Good thing you got presents for all the torture!

  18. Well, I didn't gets too skeered reading this but I had to cover up Brudder Ranger's eyes. He gets all shivery and quivery when it comes to getting his nails done. Uh, but don't tell him I told you that.

But I'm glad that if you HAD to be tortured, you gots a bully stick and a stuffie outta the deal, though.

And I'm all sorts of excited that I mighta helped you think of a name for your new foster sister!

    Wiggles & Wags,

  19. Hi Corbin! I was so scared that I almost fainted!

  20. We are so happee you got a goodie after all that abuse...BOL

  23. Wow! That was a LOT to put up with for a bully stick - but kinda worth it, huh?

    The Road Dogs

  24. That was very scary! Probably worth it for a bully stick. I never get those. Do you know why? JUST because I won't let Franklin have one, too. I have a little issue. What's the big deal?

    lotsa licks, Lola
