Back to Corbin, and an update on Christopher

Good MORNING!!!!!!!  I'm back to the blog today... no more momma talking.  She's not a big blogger anyway.  But, I'll start with the Christopher update because I know how interested everyone is in his recovery.  I just heard from my Uncle Chris and he said that Christopher's swelling has gone down and he has his eyes open this morning!!!  My momma was all scretching and crying when we heard, but she has to wait until after work to go visit him.  Her and dad went down last night and mom said he had one eye open a tiny bit, but just enough so she could really "see" him.  He looked scared, but he knows he's surrounded by lots of his family and she told him that he has lots and lots of prayers and thoughts coming his way.  She can't wait to see that smile and hear his giggle again!

So, with everything that has been going on with Christopher, I forgot to tell everyone that we got SNOW!!!! It's not a lot, only an inch or two, but it's still FUN!  Mom's been pretty busy, so we haven't gotten many pictures of me playing in it, but here are a few!
Ma... is this what I think it is?!
Ohhhh, it's cold on my feet!!!
Must be SNOW!!!!
See ya mom! I got snow to play in!
What's that mom?  I can't here you... you can't possibly be
calling me to come inside... nope, still can't here you.
We're all happy it's Friday in my house!  I can't wait for the weekend and hopefully I'll get to play with Emmett for a bit!  I was supposed to get a foster sister yesterday, but mom said she went to another foster home where she'll get some more attention because we have a lot going on.  Heather said she would have been an awesome foster sister for me, so maybe she'll come to my house if she doesn't get adopted tomorrow!  Otherwise, I might get a new foster sister when we take some dogs in from 3 hours up north, after the holidays.  Either way... I'm in some serious foster sister withdrawals!!!

Hope everyone has a great weekend!  I'll try to keep updates of Chistopher coming!

From the Momma

Hi Everyone!  I just want to take over Corbin's blog today to thank everyone for their kind words and their thoughts and prayers for Christopher and my family yesterday, and the continuous prayers for Christopher's recovery.  I'm very happy to report that Christopher's surgery went great.  The doctor was very happy with the procedure and finished quicker than expected.  They ran into no complications and the plastic surgeon said he has very strong bones for a child his age.  Christopher will be recovering in the hospital for the next 5-7 days.  Nothing I've ever experienced in my life prepared me for seeing Christopher in the ICU yesterday.  He seems so tiny.  He spiked a fever last night, but it's now back to normal.

All of your thoughts are greatly appreciated.  Christopher had so many people praying for him yesterday from all over the world.  I know that had something to do with the quickness and success of the surgery.  So, thank you, from the bottom of our hearts!  Corbin will be back tomorrow and will continue to give you updates on our little trooper!
This was taken back in October... He does love his Auntie!

Today's the day... Pray for my Christopher

Last week I introduced you to my baby cousin, Christopher David, Jr and told you about his upcoming surgery.  Well, today is the day.  Christopher goes into surgery at 7:30 am today, December 15th.  Please cross your paws and say a prayer for my little cousin.  If you missed my post on Christoper and his condition, you can see it here.  Mom will be spending the day with Christopher's parents (my Uncle Chris and his girlfriend Melissa) and my Grandma Lynda and Grandpa Dave at the hospital, so I won't be able to visit.  Not only is Mom Christopher's Aunt, she became his Godmother on Sunday too.  He's an extra special little man and my Mom and Dad love him very much.

Oh, Christmas Tree... Oh, Christmas Tree...

Uh, Dad... you're bringing that IN the house?
So... Guess what happened to ME the other night!  Mom put me in my crate because she said some things needed to get moved around and didn't want me underfoot getting hurt.  So in I went... and I waited.  Then she comes to get me and I'm so excited to see what they did I come running down the hallway and I jump onto my loveseat.... only... my loveseat isn't there and I just look like an idiot jumping into the air.  WTF.  They moved my loveseat into the basement.  Totally not cool.  I wasn't happy and I made sure mom knew it from the look I gave her.

THEN!  Back into the crate I go.  Mom said the front door was open and she didn't want me escaping getting cold.  So, after a while she comes into my room and lets me out.  This time I don't get too excited because I'm kind of upset they put me in the crate TWICE.  So down the hall I go and what do I find?  A TREE!  The moved MY loveseat and replaced it with a TREE!  So I decided to roll with the punches... I helped dad water it and clean up all the yummy needles.  Then we put the tree skirt on it.

Well, last night it was time to decorate it!  So round and round and round the tree I went while mom and dad put the lights on.

Ok... are you ready to put the toys ornaments on?
Really?  He's going on the tree?
Ok... there's a car and a boat on my tree.  Why do we have cars
and boats that I can't fit into?
Huh?  You don't want me laying under the tree?
I'll sit then... Hey everyone... this is my tree!
Mom, I think the camera was tilted on this one...
because my tree doesn't look straight!
Now... where will Santa hide Puddles...
I've been good all year!
Hope you all enjoyed my tree!!!  NOW!  It's the night we've all been waiting for... Tonight is Remington's Vikings vs MY NYGiants!!!!!!  The game was supposed to be yesterday, but the Giants got stuck in Kansas City and then the Vikings stadium caved in because of the snow!  So now they're playing tonight in Detroit!  I wish Remington's team the best... but LET'S GO GMEN!!!!!!!!!!!
GOOOOO BIG BLUE!!!!!
Later Dudes!

Can't think of a title....

I was supposed to post about my tree today, but my lazy mom didn't put my pictures on the computer... so I guess you'll all just have to wait ;-)

BUT, I'll leave you with a picture to hold you over...

See?  No snow.

New Collars!

So, a lot of you noticed my new collar in yesterday's post!  I actually got TWO new collars!  Mom said they were supposed to be for Christmas, but she let me try them on.

First, the package came... which was SO fun.

This says my name on it right there, Mom.
I'll be taking this....
Hm... now how do I get inside?
Here we go.....
Hey... I think there's treats in here!
There we go... totally open. Now, let's see what's inside...
Ohhh! All this stuff's for me!!!
What do you MEAN I have to wait until CHIRSTMAS?!
Ma... you put it on upside down.
Grrrrr... This is my "Absoultely Dangerous" collar!
Because... I'm Absolutely Dangerous, obviously.
Like my mean face??? Grrrrrr
This is my new every day collar.
Ma... you can take the tags off now.
What do ya think?  Do I look good in green?
I also got a special bag of treats!!!! They look SUPER Yummy!
Yep... they're yummy!!!!
My awesome new collars came from Sirius Republic and I also got a new leash to match my green collar!  I'm super bummed that I can't wear them until Christmas though... Daddy-o just LOVES the grey one with the skulls on it... I'll be wearing that one, along with my Giants jersey for the football games!

Also, check it out.  My pal Rudy is having a Holiday Contest!!! You have to write a Holiday poem to be entered!  I'm going to spend the rest of my day thinking about my poem... go visit him and enter!

Oh, AND!!!!!!! Maggie Mae got her snow delivered to her.  Now, Maggie Mae only lives through the woods from me... so she's not that far away.  And I didn't get ANY snow.  Now, I think Remington is playing favorites because Maggie Mae is a Vikings fan and I am a Giants fan and the Vikings and Giants play this weekend.  I'm just saying... that's the only way to explain why SHE got snow and I DIDN'T!!!

And, one more thing, Frankie thinks I should run for Blogville Beautification Secratary instead of Secretary of Handsomeness.  I think I can live with that!  What do you think?  Or does it sound too girly...?  Because, I'm a dude... not a chick.  Maybe I should be incharge of military actions instead... I already have a camo shirt.

Later Dudes!
