Long BUSY Weekend, Part 3!

So, continuing with my week-long posts about my super busy weekend, today I'm going to introduce Kelsey to all you bloggin' furiends!

I let her cuddle with my momma until her parents came home.

We had SO much fun together!  I hope Aunt Miss Katie and
Uncle Mr. Jim go away for another weekend soon!

Ps. Sorry I haven't been around to visit everyone as often as I usually am.  Mom has her final projects due for school this week, so I've been doing some of her work for her.  I'm going to earn my degree someday! HEHE!  But, seriously, I didn't want anyone to think I abandoned Puddles them! 

Long BUSY weekend Part 2!

Today I'm going to tell you about my walk with Levi and Maggie Mae!  I sure do love meeting up with everyone and I FINALLY got to meet the Levi in the furlife!  About time! hehehe

Long BUSY Weekend! Part 1

Woah, it's TUESDAY already?!  I had quite the weekend!  So I'm going to spend all week telling you about it!  I don't want to overload you in one post!  So you'll have to continue to pay attention to me ALL week! hehe

Friday night I FINALLY got my cupcake for moms birthday made by momma's worker friend, Tabby!!!!

Can I please have the cupcake now???

Dad, is she seriously making me "wait" for my treat???

Ma............. really?

CAN I EAT IT YET?!?!?!?!

Hm... this is different, ma...

Opps, I flipped it over.

I better put it in my food dish, that way mom can't take it back...

Ok, back on the floor... lets break this thing apart.

HOLY POTATOES!!! THIS IS AMAZING!

Gotta eat it up quick, before mom or dad realizes how good this is.

Clear the evidence....

Got every crumb out of my bowl....

And every speck off the floor! WOW, that was DEEEELISH!

Adopt a Pet Month!

October is Adopt a Pet Month!  And since I'm an adopted Pet and my family continues to foster dogs for the rescue I came from, I thought I'd do an entry every week in October and introduce you to the foster dogs we've had!

Our first foster dog was Belle.  She was a beauty!!!  She was adopted out as a puppy from Homeward Bound and her family could no longer keep her, so they returned her at 2.5 years old!  She was a Beagle/German Shepard mix.

This was when Mom first brought her home.

Here we are after we got introduced and had some playing time.

Once I decided she was OK, I showed her around the yard.

We made sure to inspect the yard for intruders every day.

We had to make sure things weren't hiding anywhere.

Then she'd take my ball... and I'd chase her around

I'd catch her and tell her that it was MY ball.

Then I'd sit on her when she tried to talk back.

We really got along great though!

We kept Mom company when she wasn't feeling well.

And I taught her how to sleep!

Hehe looks scary, huh?  We liked to play bitey faces!

We enjoyed relaxing and napping together on the couch.

And I'd often sneak into her crate so we could sleep together
at night.

Hehe! She was very silly sticking out her tongue!!

And she really loved riding in the car!

We had her for 2.5 weeks as a foster dog.

 Mom has a special place in her heart for Belle.  She was a beautiful girl and so very well behaved.  We got along great and I miss her very much!  Mom loved her furever family and knows she'll have a safe place for the rest of her life! She is beautiful with her black eyeliner! -Hey Puddles, maybe she stole yours??? Ut-oh...

Oh, One more thing....

Mom would like to say a huge Thank You to everyone who wished her a happy day!  She had a great birthday - of course, because she has me!  And, apparently Mom celebrates her birthday for 20 days, not just 1 day!  Go Figure.  Almost an entire month all about my Momma!  Sounds typical ;-)  Her friends at work threw her a little party with cupcakes and ice cream!  Mom was supposed to bring me home a cupcake but she forgot it... so I BETTER get it tonight!  Or else!  Dad and I also got mom a brand new camera!  Now she has no excuses not to take even more pictures of ME!  Once she gets it all figured out, she'll upload some new camera pictures!
