Please visit our friends over at Romping and Rolling in the Rockies.... they had to say goodbye to sweet K as she went to the bridge.  Her journey was one that leaves us all with hope, faith and strength.  She taught us to embrace and enjoy each and every day.  I am so grateful to have known her through KB's blog and she will forever live within my heart.

Busy weekend!

It sure was a busy weekend... Friday night Brutus and I had a foster guest over.  Her name was Nicky and I was quite smitten.

Then, Nicky was adopted on Saturday!  So, mom brought Cleo back over for a visit while Heather and Emmett spent some time with Emmett's grandma.  AND she also brought Magic Mike!  No... not the hunk in the movie, but this guy sure is cool.

Anyway... Cleo went home last night (and threw up ALL over mom! BOL!) and Mikey is going to his foster home today.  So, it'll just be me and Brutus again, but BOY was that fun!

Friday Fun Day: Brutey!

Well, I'm happy to report that it didn't take long for Brutus to rebound.  He's still a little handshy in the house, but we'll keep working on that.  This morning, the momma couldn't resist snagging some pictures of him enjoying life outside.  He likes the simple things... like half of a KONG football that I previously destroyed.  He doesn't need much, just love and attention and some room to romp around and play in.  I'll send you off to your weekend with some pictures of Brutey being Brutey.  The momma says it warms her heart, so hopefully, your heart will be a little warmer too!

Better late than never!

Did ya miss me?  The momma and daddy-o took off for MY lake with MY boat without ME for like 87 days.  I hung out with Heather and Emmett and didn't have the means to do my bloggin'.  So, I had some posts already done and ready to go, but blogger decided that it didn't want to post them.  Oh, well.

Anyway.  Been a super busy few days and lots of new stuff going on!  Today, I'm going to let you all know that I'm hosting an event for the Blogville Olympics!  I will be hosting......... drum roll please....................

Walkin' about the neighborhood!

Now, there will be 3 different sections to this... You can send me a photo of you doin' a:

• Solo walk - on or off leash
• Partner/Group walk with one or more buddies
• The human walk, where you send a picture of you walkin' your human!

Now, here is some important information about submitting your entry.

1. Please send all pictures to me at OhCuteCorbin(AT)gmail(DOT)com no later than Wednesday, July 18, 2012 at midnight (eastern standard time, because that's where I live!)  Now, Frankie is super strick about this deadline and he said that in no way, shape or form am I allowed to accept a picture late... so please get them in early so we don't have to worry about your email arriving on July 19, 2012 at 12:01am.  Okay?  Ok, good.  The Olympic Committe must insist that all athletes be enetered by Midnight July 18th  in order for the athlete to be screened for bugs. The Peep Athletes have to be screened fur drugs... but we of Blogville are above that!    However, we gotta be sure that no Fleas get in...   Complain to FRANKIE if you don't like the deadline. 
2. Pictures must be submitted with the name of each athlete in the photo and a link to your blog (if you want).  If there is more than one photo in your email, please make sure I will know who is in what picture!
3. Pictures can be of you on or off leash, except for the human walk - your human must be on a leash for this one!
4. And, most importantly... HAVE FUN!  And make sure you check out all of the other events.  AND make sure you get your pictures in on time!

This is going to be so much fun!  I'm so glad I was asked to step in for this event!  I will be responding to all the emails I receive so you know that I received your email with your photo.  I will also try to keep a running tab on the side of my bloggie with all of the athletes that have entered THIS event!
