I owe you an apology...

I kind of disappeared.  Sorry about that.

The momma started a new job and we've all been super consumed with that.  It's been awful.

The momma now gets home before dad.  Do you know what that means?  It means she's home when dad gets home!  And, do you know what that means?!  It means I can't show dad my excitement that he's home by using my spring loaded feets to jump up at his face for black eyes smoochies!  Can you believe it?!

What's wrong with my excitements?

The momma got all mad and said "Oh, Corbin!  You KNOW better!"  Then she yelled at dad and told him this was unacceptable and she can't believe it's been going on for so long without any of her knowledges.  Darn.

We got busted.

Now I have to work on my behaviors.

  1. I understand completely. Momma and Master have slightly different rules about jump greetings (among other things). You have to try to keep things straight and never get caught. For example, I like to help momma get ready for walkies by going in the bedroom and giving her smoochies while she puts her shoes on. Master thinks doggies in the bedroom are a very bad thing. The other day I thought Master wasn't around and he caught me and called me a bad doggie. Of course, then there is the fact that I make harp seal eyes at Master when he eats pizza because I know he will give me some, but I never try that on Momma. So much to keep track of.

  2. Maybe the mom was just jealous she never got those welcome homes........pssss we do get way more excited about our dad coming home than our mom too.

  3. I am only too familiar with the naughtiness that goes on between dads and doggies when the momma isn't around.

  4. Sigh. We know how that goes around here. My dad USED to work from home and we got oodles of treats. Now that it's my MOM that works from home, the treat river has kinda dried up. Moms are pawsome but they can also kinda be pawty poopers, can't they?

  8. WOW. It's so much easier for me, because I just have Momma to keep track of. I don't know if I could handle all these different things!

  10. Hi Corbin
I really really really really missed you. And I don't blame you for getting all excited when your 'rents come home. I do. . . I circle under their feets until they (1) trip or (2) pick me up for a cuddle or (3) feed me.

  12. Howdy Corbin. Same at our place. Mum says I, Rory have to keep calm and gentle cause if I jump around soneone will get hurt butt sometimes dad stirs me up. I love it but mum gives Dad the evil eye. It's scarey! You and your dad will have to do the "boy" stuffs somewhere away from mum hehe. No worries, and slobber, Rory and Stella
