Health update & Start of the Blogville Olympics!

So, last night was my 3 week check up with Dr. Mike - which was actually a 4 week check up because we had to reschedule last weeks appointment!

And... guess what!

I've been ouchie free for TEN WEEKS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

And... guess what else!

I don't have to go back for TEN weeks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
What's Dr. Mike going to do without seeing my handsome face?

Dr. Mike said I'm looking great!  I'm back up to 72.8lbs and I'm building back a lot of the muscle tone that I lost.  As long as I stay ouchie and incident free... I don't have to see him for TEN weeks!  OMD, I'm so excited I can hardly contain it all in my furs!  So, I just have to keep doing what I'm doing.  We decreased my prednisone to 5mg once a day, and in 3 weeks as long as my ouchies stay away, I start 5mg every other day!  Then in 3 more weeks, I stop completely with the prednisone!  THEN, I have to wait 3 weeks, then the momma calls to schedule me to have another heart ultrasound so they can check out how my heart is doing... THEN, if my heart looks good, I can start decreasing my heart medications!  And, before I know it, I'm going to be medication and ouchie FREE!!!  Can you believe it?  Oh my, it'll be like a dream come true!

Cheers for an ouchie free life!

Now, down to some business...
I'm playin' for the U.S.A.!!!!!!!!!!

Today is the start of the Blogville Olympics!  Make sure you check out the starting events today and make sure you check back here on Monday to check out my event: Walkin' around the neighborhood!
