about all my ouchies!
We appreciate all the support and advice!!!
We did get some good news... the videos that the momma took really helped Dr. Mike and the other vets involved in the case of Corbinitis. They're 99% sure that it's a pinched nerve in my back by the way I hunch a little and position my legs under my body to relieve the pressure on my back. The momma is looking into the acupunctures and we'll most likely give that a shot.
Also, over the weekend, the momma and the dad found out they have a contact at Cornell who's in school there... so he might take all my informations to help figure out what's wrong.
Anywho, I'm 8 days ouchie free and I'm feelin' good!
YAY!! Hope the ouchies stay away & we are glad to hear that they might know what is causing them.
ReplyDeleteSo glad to hear you have been ouchie free for over a week. Good luck with the acupuncture.

We just got caught up on your saga, Corbin. You poor guy, and your poor stressed-out people! We are so happy to hear you've been pain-free for eight days! Acupuncture sounds like a fantastic option. We've had acupuncture treatments done on dogs in the past with excellent results. Hang in there, pal!

Mum and I have been following the stories of your ouchies and am so glad you are ouchie-free. I am 8 yrs old, 75 lb wimp (as mum likes to call me) and the only ouchies i get is when I get a cactus thorn or stone stuck in my paw on walkies, and mum says I am a realy baby about those. She knows what it is like to have major ouchies so she really had me and my new foster sissie andmy kitty sissies crossing our paws and she had her 'paws' crossed for you too.
ReplyDeleteAgain, glad you are feeling so much better.
We hope they are finally getting to the bottom of what ails you. Then maybe they can fix it. We're so happy you've had some ouchie-free days. Keep it up.

ReplyDeleteYou keep on being owie free, sweet Corbin!
ReplyDeleteMy Bentley had a pinched nerve in his lower back. We went thru various pain meds and such, but acupuncture helped him more than anything else. The first two sessions didn't show any improvement and may have even looked worse, but with the third it was amazing that he started walking normally and appeared to be pain free. We started with weekly sessions, then went to monthly. Good luck, I hope it helps Corbin as much as it did Bentley.
ReplyDeleteYay, Corbin!! I am so glad you are feeling so much better! I hope the acupuncture will work too -- my mom has worked with a few vets that have gotten really great results from it and I will be keeping my paws crossed for you :)
ReplyDeleteThat's what Delilah had! I'm so glad they figured it out, hopefully they come up with a treatment plan quick. :-)
ReplyDeleteI hope that they figure out a quick cure for you. Everyone knows Corbin rocks!
ReplyDeleteNubbin wiggles,
Oskar
Hi Corbin! I've been drowning in too much work but I was glad to see that the vets thought that they might know the cause of your "Corbinitis". I mentioned in my last comment that our dog, many years ago, had similar intermittent phases of extreme pain, including yelping. It was a pinched nerve for him.
ReplyDeleteI hope that acupuncture is helping. It's done wonders for some of our dogs over the years. We'd all love an update on how you're doing.
