Bye Bye Peter Cottontail...

It's been THREE years since I first met Peter Cottontail.
See him there? On the left?
Photo taken 6/21/10... like more than TWO years ago.
It's blurry bc I tried to make it bigger
and it was taken with the momma's old crappy phone.
But, do ya see him?!
I watched him...
Stalked him...
Chased him...
And.... yesterday?
So long, Peter!  It was a fun 3 years, but I FINALLY WON!

  1. You just played tag with him, wouldn't hurt him....right?

  2. Dude... those are big toofers you gots there! Did you show them to Peter? Up close and personal like?

    Sam and Pippen

  3. Our Nina caught a few bunnies during her time here. We tried to tell the bunnies that it wasn't a good idea to come into the fenced yard when there was so much outside of it, but they didn't listen.

  4. Congrrats!! What a mighty hunter. Peter never stood a chance.

  5. Way to go, Corbin! The wait was worth it, right?!

    Love ya lots,
    Mitch and Molly

  6. Oh Corbin, how could you?! Poor bunny. I do understand though since we have a hunter. A blind one named Hiker. She has caught (and swallowed whole) a young bunny and also caught a baby raccoon and a few birds. As Cindy commented, we too try to tell the wild critters that our big fenced yard is not a good place for them. Corbin, I still think you are adorable!

  7. Nothing like some tasty tasty wabbit - I hope your Mom let you enjoy your catch

  8. Gasp! What did you do when you caught him? Wait! No! I don't want to know! I'm going to imagine that you just rassled with him a bit and then he told you he was moving and then you hugged him and off he went to his new home. Yes, that's what I will believe.

    Oh Corbin! :)

  9. Well done, Corbin!

    XXXOOO Daisy, Bella & Roxy

  10. Um did you hurt the bunny?

Stop on by for a visit

  11. Oh Corbin - we are whispering our kudos to you because Mom doesn't like it when we catch bunnies - could it possibly have something to do with what we do after we catch them? :(

Woos - Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning

  12. Aw, Man Corbin! Couldn't u spare the poor Peter cotton tail?

  13. Well, buddy, there are a bunch more in my yard. I don't really notice them and my assistant finds this hysterical!

    Your pal, Pip

  14. Corbin your our hero We can only hope to be as good as hunter as you some day.

    The silvers and more

  15. Oh,yeah! Nice dude. I've never seen a wabbit in the furs, butts I bets it's as fun as tree rats ~ probally better!
Ma just wouldn't have wanted to 'clean up' afterwards! BOL
That part freaks her out...don't know why? I am more than capable of 'cleaning up'! Moms are strange.
    Kudos on your capture Corbin!!

  16. Cool Corbin!! We love catching rabbits around here too!! Good going Corbin. :)

  17. Oh Corbin.....our pals in da UK sell Wild Rabbit Ears on their shop. Mebbe that would be a better bet for the future...

  18. Wow, Corbin, you are amazing. Want to come to my place and give me some pointers? I've been trying to snag a rabbit for years.

  19. I would've run from it!

    woof - Tucker
