The momma's back

You may not have known it, probably because I left the blog word for a whole week and didn't update anyone... but, the momma LEFT me for OVER a week!  Do you believe it?  She left dad in charge of feedings... the nerve.  I will report that dad did an A-OK job though!  Especially in the treat departmant... Dad got an A+!

So, here's how the return went down. I was chillin' in the window lookin' for the momma like I do every night, even when she doesn't come home.  And BAM! Someone pulled into the driveway!  Thinking it couldn't possibly be the momma because she had gone and deserted me and was never coming back, I alerted Brutus and he and I made sure that dad knew there was an intruder in our driveway!
Calling for back up!

Turns out, it wasn't an intruder... it really was the momma!  I was so happy she was home and Brutus and I were wiggling and waggin' and giving her smoochies.  She was totally happy to see us too.  And, do you want to know the first thing she said?????

"WOW!  Corbin's going on a diet!"

Yep.  Good to see you too momma.  Brat.

You leave me for a whole  week and THAT'S what you have to say to me?

Anyway... glad to report that my grandma Lynda made it wonderfully through her surgery thanks to all of your well wishes!  And her recovery is going absolutely great!  The momma has been staying with her to make sure everything goes well, but she's back home now because grandma Lynda is doing awesome!

Guess I'll start my diet now....

  15. Corbin, don't you know that Blogville is supposed to be a clean place and NO dirty language should be used? We just saw you use the word D-I-E-T! Holy Guacamole, that's a very dirty word!

At least your Dad does right by you :)
