Thinking of our friends

We heard the news on Friday... as I'm sure most of you have heard by now.  Our friend Sandra lost her home and part of her beautiful pack in an awful electrical fire.  Momma can't stop crying every time she thinks of it or reads more about it.  I'm pretty sure this is everyone's worst fear.

If you haven't already, please stop over to their blog and lend your support... We can't imagie the pain and horror Sandra and her family are going through... We think about them and pray for them all day.  We hope they find strength to get through this.  We'll never understand why horrible things happen to wonderful people.

Please go to the chip-in page created to help... I know money is tight for everyone during the holidays, but if we all give a little, it will help a lot.

  5. It's so very sad. My momma has had leaky eyes for days and days. But I'm so Most Happy to see how we're all joining our paws together and wrapping them around Miss Sandra and her sweet family.

  6. Corbin, we are glad to see we are not the only ones being a little slow this year. It was just really heard to even think about sending cards out this weekend with what has happened to our blogville friends Houston Pittie Pack. We helped a little on the chip-in page. Hopefull after the holidays we can help a little more. My heart just aches for them. Sniffs, The HoundDogs

  14. I posted about this today but haven't commented on Sandra's blog because I just didn't know what to say. I'm pretty sure everyone has already said everything I would want to say and in a much more eloquent way. I'll pop over though and let her know I support her.

  16. OH Corbin, we didn't even know them but Mommy is devastated over this. This too is her worst fear. We sent a message to them on their bloggy letting them know we are praying for them. 2 years ago, Mommys best friends cousin here in FL's house got hit by lightning and she lost several cats and her 2 dogs in the fire. The dogs were in their crates and no one was home. Everytime we think about it, Mommy gets sick to her stomach. So so sad for anyone who ever has to go through this :(
