Um, mom... I think Irene came while we were sleeping. |
Looks like rain... |
Mia: Um, he's not even looking at the camera. Take my picture. |
Wait a minute... we're NOT going out in this. |
Mom, look what Irene did to our sunflowers! |
She's a witch, that Irene! |
Mia: Let me back in! IRENE IS GETTING ME! |
Mia: That was tough work, fighting Irene... |
Now what are we going to do if we can't play outside? |
Come on, Mia... we can play INSIDE! |
RAWR! I'm Corbin, hiding dog, under coffee table. |
This isn't much fun... |
Don't worry, Mom... I'll continue to keep an eye on Irene. |
Please note: althought we are pretty bummed about our sunflowers... we are very thankful we didn't have any damage! Glad it's nice and sunny here now! And we hope that everyone gets their powers back and we hope no one has bad damges!

No matter what they say about Irene being a downgraded storm, she was one nasty lady. We are so glad you only lost your sunflowers and are all OK. So much worse for so many. Hard to understand why Mother Nature has been so misbehaving lately.
ReplyDeleteStay safe and have lots of fun with Mia.
Woos ~ Phantom, Thunder, Ciara, and Lightning
Hi Corbin, you can plant some new sunflowers next season. Glad you are all well. Take care dude. No worries, and love, Stella
ReplyDeleteWow,that nasty Irene sure did a number on those sunflowers, didn't she?
ReplyDeleteI'm glad that's the worst she did and that you're all ok.
Irene certainly messed up your play routine. But at least she just wrecked the sunflowers. Our aunties in VA and RI have electricity outages and ruined food in freezers.
ReplyDeleteXXXOOO Daisy, Kendra & Bella

ReplyDeleteGlad to hear that you guys didn't have any major damage. :)
ReplyDeleteHey Corbin! Those sunflowers, so sad, but it is a good thing that they took the wrath of Irene so that the rest of your estate would be safe.
