Eye follow-up

Nurse Maggie checked me out before I went back to Dr. VET
Ma... that thingy to my right told me I'm fat.  It said I gained
3lbs since last week...
Look into my eyes Dr. VET... You're getting sleepy......
I need lots of treats.... You're still sleepy.....
And lots of toys..........
Ok, you're awake, Dr. VET.
STERIODS?!
That's not what I said!  I said TREATS!  What do you mean
STERIODS?!
On the way home from the VET with my steriods....
^Steriod do-er

Dr. VET... I think you've got me alllllll wrong.  I go back next week for another follow up.  Dr. VET was worried because my eyes were still a little swollen.  But everything else looks fine and I didn't have to have my bump biopsied.... we're just going to keep an eye on it.

If you missed it, check out yesterday's post for information on my contest!

  9. The scales must be wrong. Did the Doctor have his toe on them? You look terrific to us, but our Samba is on steroids and she says that they'll make you super hungry. She's sure Mom is trying to starve her.

  10. WHAT? You don't need steroids! I mean, just look at you! You're HUNKARIFFIC! That's just the ker-aziest thing I ever heard. What? Oh. Mom said that they're to helps your eyes.I don't understand how that works since steroids helps humans to swell up, right?

Anyways, I hope your eyes get all better real soon.

  15. My Vets thingy said I had gained weight too. Mom cut back on my food a little and I am not happy about that. What's a guy to do?

Good luck with your steroids, mama said these are corticosteroids your on... not the anabolic steroids that muscle builders use. Corticosteroids help to reduce inflammation.

  17. How funny that you had a pre-check up with Maggie Mae! I loved her hat too! Did she have the same diagnosis at Dr. Vet? And why would Dr. Vet give you steroids instead of what you REALLY needed?

  18. Thank goodness nurse Maggie was there. 368432 treats a day keeps the doctor away

  22. Those steriods will make you more muscular and then you'll gain more weight. Makes no sense to me. I do hope they help though.

  32. The steroids worked for our guy, R, who had yucky and sore eyes for a while. Maybe they'll work for you.

Ask R how to persuade your vet about treats... and more food. Somehow, R hypnotized (or bribed) our vet into telling us to DOUBLE his rations. Can you believe it? A dog's dream come true...

I hope that your eyes keep getting better.
