If it were not for rescue groups, I would not be here today.

If it were not for caring people, selfless people, I would not be here today.

If it were not for donations, I would not be here today.

I do my part in trying to encourage families to adopt pets.  I am proof that a great dog is sitting in a shelter somewhere, waiting for you!

Can't take another dog in?  Life gets in the way of donating your time?  Finances get in the way of donating your money?  Well, you don't have to give up time or money... Simply CLICK. Every click donates .6 bowls of food to rescued animals.  And you can click EVERY day!  So, get clicking...

Now there's a new way to help.  Power of bloggin'!  Read below, join in, and help!  Spreading awareness is the first step in fixing the overpopulation of dogs in shelters.  The more people who are aware of this problem, the quicker it gets fixed!  Spay, Neuter, ADOPT!

This year the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive is raising awareness for homeless dogs by donating a bowl of food to shelter dogs for everyone who becomes a "Fan" or "Likes" the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive on Facebook. So far more than 1 million bowls have been donated.

Special for BlogPaws West: For each blog that posts about the PEDIGREE Adoption Drive through September 19, PEDIGREE will donate a bag of its new Healthy Longevity Food for Dogs to shelters nationwide. It's simple: Write a post, help a dog.

This is the blog where I got the below information!

Looking for a way to help a homeless dog? If you have a blog of any kind, simply write a post to help a dog from now through September 19 and Pedigree will donate a 20-pound bag of food to an animal shelter.

It's that simple.

Just include the bullets listed here, and add the direct link to your blog post to our Blog Hop below so we can all see how big an impact we are making!
  • Each year, more than 4 million dogs end up in shelters and breed rescue organizations. Pedigree created The PEDIGREE Adoption Drive to help shine a spotlight on the plight of these homeless dogs.
