Corbin's House of Terror!

Beware!  If you're easily scared, I suggest you skip to the last part of this blog, or exit all together!

Last warning!!!!!!!!

Boo!

Ok, if that last Boo! didn't scare you, you're okay to read on!

So, that picture is what MY house looked like last night.  Scary, huh?

Why does our house look like that mom?
What do you mean it's in my imagination?  No, there's photo proof
our house DEFINITELY looks like that...
Something bad is going to happen.....
AhhhhhH!!!! NO!  You're NOT cutting my nails!
Please tell me this is a nightmare dream!
No, no, no, no, no!  This can not be happening...
My life is over, and these are the tools that will end it.
I'm makin' like a ghost... and I'M OUTTA HERE!
See, mom!  I don't think there's anything wrong with my nails!
I'M NOT LOOKING!!! You can take by paw, but you will never take
my FREEDOM!
Ok, Ok, Ok!  I surrender!!! Please! STOP!!!
Why? Why must you do this to me?
No way, Jose!  I'm NOT going back over there. I don't care if you
say we're done.  You could be lying! Could be a TRICK!
Are you NUTS?!
Well... what's that smell?  Smells yummy....
Are you sure we're done?  Promise, no tricks?
Ok, I'll forgive you if you give me that bully stick.
I'm sitting.... Can I please have it?
YEP! That's the one!!! Give it to me!!!!! You've torchered me enough, lady!
I'll take that, THANK YOU!
Let go of it!  I deserve that fair and square!!!!
STOP following me!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
I'm just going to pretend I don't see you... and savor every bite
of this bully stick after what I had to endure to get it!
BAD MOM.
What else ya got for me?  1 Bully stick was not enough.
I need more... whatcha got?
A new non stuffed stuffie?!  OH BOY!
I'M OUTTA HERE!!!!!!!
Who's still with me???  Did I scare everyone away??? Helloooooooooo

Well, for those of you who couldn't read through my horrible experience, you can pick up reading again!  I just wanted to thank everyone for their nice comments about my new foster sister!  Mom really likes the name "Tessa" which was inspired by Mayzie!  And she also likes Suzie because she checked out the link Elyse left us and saw this quote that she liked so much for Sassy's sistuation: "I do not know the word 'quit.' Either I never did, or I have abolished it." which was said by Susan Butcher, Iditarod winner, 1988.  Susan is way too formal for my new sister, so we thought we could shorten it to Suzie.  We'll see though.  Mom will probably wait until we meet her to decide.  If you have anymore suggestions, please send them through!  I'm getting really excited to meet her!

Later dudes!

  2. Corbin, I think I got cheated. A nice lady clipped my nails yesterday and I was very cooperative. BUT nobody gave ME a bully stick. I don't even know what a bully stick is, but that thing you had sure looks good.

  9. That was so scary, Corbin!! Riley doesn't let me cut her nails...she has to go to the scary V-E-T to get that done! Does that QuickFinder really work? I am glad you got a bully stick and a stuffie out of that! Glad you found a name you liked in that link I left you!

  12. What a nightmare! Hey! About four years ago my momma tried that on me and I gave her a muzzle butt so hard she lost sensation in her hand. Now she takes me to the V-E-T for my nail trim. I really feel for you, but I also am envious that you got a nommy bully stick out of the deal.

  13. Not even a bully stick would convince us to let mom clip our nails! You are a better doggie than we are, Corbin!

    Love ya lots,

  14. Oh Corbin, we feel for ya mate. Nail clippers! Can anything be more scary? We mostly walk on concrete, so SHE doesn't have to do the nail thing; but there's always the dew claws! (Bella hasn't got any.)

Hope the bully stick and new non-stuffie helped UNTIL NEXT TIME!!!!

  16. You can take my paw, but you can't take my freedom - that's funny stuff! I HATE getting my nails trimmed and I put up a good fight when they come at me with those clippers (though mine are a little smaller than yours).

    Your pal, Pip

P.S.: I like the name Tessa.
